The über glam and talented Melanie Whipman, award-winning writer extraordinaire, is running a delicious sounding writer’s workshop in Greece in October.
Apparently:
The retreat offers the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in writing for a few days. There will be tutor led exercises, feedback on your work, time to write alone, and time to workshop with fellow writers. It’s ideal if you’re part way through a novel or memoir and feel a little stuck, or if you’re a beginner and would just like inspiration and guidance to tackle some short stories or to start a longer piece. The setting is stunning – a little village in the Greek hills an hour or so outside Athens.
I mean, does that sound idyllic or what? You won’t be able to help being inspired in a setting like that, and Melanie is a great teacher. I met her when I was putting together Melanie’s short story collection ‘Llama Sutra‘, for InkTears Publications, and we had an enormously fun day filming her amongst a herd of lovely llamas.
